A Note From Mrs. Goss
Dear DYE Families,
I am thrilled to begin my twenty-first year in education as a Daniel Young Dolphin! I have been fortunate to be a part of the Blue Springs School District for all of my career. The first seventeen years were spent teaching in fifth and third grades at James Lewis Elementary. This is my third year as an administrator and fourth year as the assistant principal at Chapel Lakes Elementary. Greater Kansas City has always been my home so the University of Missouri-Kansas City was the natural fit for me to get my teaching certificate. I later received a Master’s degree from Webster University and, most recently, my Specialist in Elementary Administration from University of Central Missouri.
At BSSD, we believe that every student has a voice and is a valued part of our community. The best way to walk this out and support our students is to unite the home community with that of the school. I encourage communication and know that an open-door policy is a necessary and welcome component to our continued relationship. I look forward to working with you for the success of our students and am grateful to partner with you in educating your children.
Thank you,
Mrs. Missie Goss
